Event Details

Arrive at a home, be handed a fresh and fabulous pomegranate cocktail and sit down to garden-fresh meal made from locally grown ingredients. The menu is a secret...but will include a signature cocktail, a few noshes and appropriate beverage pairings for each course.

It's just all about bringing together adventuresome people who love food and giving back to the community. Donations cover the cost of bringing great raw ingredients, the talented chef Isaiah Frizzell (http://thepheast.tumblr.com) and three lucky organizations together.

The evening will begin with a signature cocktail by PPJWC member Jordan Catapano (author of "This Girl Walks Into a Bar") and a few noshes from soon to be published PPJWC Cookbook and the kitchens of Mar Vista Family Center. Then it it is on to a family-style feast lovingly prepared and curated by Chef Frizzell with appropriate beer pairings by Speakeasy brewery owner/brewer Forest Gray.

The suggested donation for the evening is $100.

Organizations benefiting from this event are:

Mar Vista Family Center- Through its Shared Responsibility Model, Mar Vista Family Center (MVFC) has helped transform a West Los Angeles community once filled with urban gang violence, unsafe streets and drug trafficking into a thriving, healthy community and given its residents a safe space to learn, grow and lead.

Busted Foundation- grew out of the success of the 2004 Bowling For Boobies® created to support a friend while she was in her fight with breast cancer. She was in treatment to save her life only to find that her next battle would be financial. The event was such a success that year that we were all inspired to continue our efforts and reach out to more women in our local community. Since 2004, $250,000 in grants have been disbursed to local women battling cancer.

PPJWC- Founded in 1935, the Pacific Palisades Junior Women's Club is a non-profit organization that brings together energetic and socially minded women in friendship to serve others and our community and to preserve the distinctive character of the Palisades. PPJWC distributed nearly $1 million over the past 10 years to numerous community organizations. Together, we raise money for a variety of causes including aid for the elderly, the environment, and our public schools and fire stations
